Some call it breakfast, petit déjeuner, desayuno or frühstück. In Greece we call it PROINO, the most important meal of the day.
Welcome to our island!
Tinos is regarded as a culinary destination known
around Greece and across the world for its quality
and fresh products. Despite the dry climate most
of the year, our island is blessed with fertile land
and provides quality ingredients (milk, cheese,
wine, deli meats and cold cuts, honey, fruit and
vegetables). What makes Tinos island so
precious is that there are more than fifty villages,
traditionally divided in five regions (PANO MERI,
KATO MERI, EXO MERI, MESA MERI and
CHORA). Each region is unique and ready to
offer its local products and secret recipes of past
centuries.

FRESH LOCAL INGREDIENTS
- All products come from local markets &
producers.
- The fresh milk & cheeses, are supplied
directly by the “Agricultural Cooperative of
Tinos”.
- We found the best local beekeepers, to
bring you pure thyme honey every
morning.
- Our home-made marmalade is made only
with seasonal fruit and no conservatives.
- All recipes contain only natural
preservatives, such as fresh eggs or
sugar.
SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS
- If you follow a Vegan diet, there is the
option to adjust accordingly the menu
CHORA to suit your dietary needs.
- Please let us know in case of food
allergies, so that your menu can be
adjusted accordingly.
- Kindly place all requests for adjustments
by 12:00 of the previous day, with your
host.
KOLACHIÓ
- Complimentary to your breakfast, you
have the option of ordering a light meal
“Kolachió” for two persons, at an
additional cost. You can take it with you to
the beach or your excursions.

RETURNABLE CONTAINERS & BOX
- PLEASE RETURN. Please place all
containers and the menu in the box. We
collect them the day after delivery. Please

The idea of the “Tinian Breakfast” was created in 2015 by “Tinos
Food Paths”. A local team of restaurant owners and gastronomy
lovers that promote local gastronomy, culture, and customs.
